This compilation is an excellent collection that brings together many of Bobby Darin's pop classics. "Splish Splash" is the track that that took him to the top of the charts & launched his career. "Queen of the Hop" hit the top ten & blasts with its beat at the time when sax was a rock staple/5(17).

Splish Splash. Bellwood, Illinois. A very rare, actually supremely rare BASED artist that will one day be lost and forgotten by the population and then one day discovered by those of the future and praised like almost BASEDGOD but it will be too late:. Other than that just yung Splash La Skrrr. S/O yung Nick or yung Splish or Nightmare Nick.

The album was not a success, but the late Hamilton Nzimande of Gallo Records give them a second chance, and Dan continued under the name “Splash". Ray Phiri of Stimela agreed to feature them as their support act when ever they had shows, he later discover that they had a great talent and decided they should change their names to SPLASH.

I really love the CD. Too bad he isn't around anymore. I heard Splish Splash, Dream Lover, Mack The Knife many times by this man. The other songs like 18 Yellow Roses, If I Were A Carpenter, On Broadway, La Bamba, Fly Me To The Moon and really good too. Happy is good too, even the song is a love theme from "Lady Sings The Blues" is good too.4/5(18).

This album was, as I mentioned above, released only as a promotional album, so it won't be found in stores. It can, however, be found at Super Collector, S.T.A.R., and Screen Archives Entertainment. At a solid 55 minutes, it's definitely worth picking up if you enjoyed Splash, or are a Lee Holdridge fan (which I am becoming more and more).
