House By The Cemetery/Mortal Massacre is Mortician's first two albums with Relapse. Mortician's sound is deep distortion and vocals and the use of a drum machine for percussion. Mortician is an excellent band for those that like horror movies since these guys add sound clips from horror movies as intros and/or outros on most of their tracks/5(17).

Originally, Relapse Records released House by the Cemetery only as a 7" EP on September 16, It was pressed on black vinyl, but there was a limited pressing ( copies) on silver vinyl. The vinyl version contained the following tracks: 1. "Intro / Defiler of the Dead" 2. "Barbaric Cruelties" 3.

Released on vinyl, one black version and one silver version that was limited to copies. Recorded and produced by Will Rahmer and Roger Beaujard on 9/16/94 in three hours. CD released by Relapse Records August 22nd, Tracks recorded on 7/10/95 in six hours. Re-released on 12" vinyl by Headbangers Records.
